A continuation of the Lab Technician Assistant role below: every maintenance and fabrication responsibility carries forward, with added ownership on top.

• Full maintenance, disassembly and calibration of the 3D printer and laser cutter fleet, including torture-testing after every service.
• Ventilation upkeep for fume-producing equipment across the PCB room and main lab.
• Ongoing workshop organization, building on the original fasteners tuck shop.

• Built a QR code reporting system for 3D printer issues, letting students flag problems on the spot through a form that feeds into Excel and a Power BI dashboard.
• Manage electronics stock for the PCB room, tracking chemical expiry, safety data sheets and inventory through Labcup.
• Occasionally induct new students on machine and tool safety, and step in on tasks they aren't yet inducted for, like pillar drill work or thread tapping, so a build doesn't stall.
• Helped plan and build this year's Robotics and AI Challenge course: an RFID-based seed planting challenge, testing robots on precision and sensing rather than raw traversal.

Kept the lab's machine fleet running to a high standard and supported day-to-day operation of the workshop, assisting students with builds spanning 3D printing, laser cutting, PCB work and hand assembly.

• Carried out hands-on maintenance, including full disassembly, on 10 Prusa MK3S and 4 Ultimaker S5 3D printers and 3 laser cutters: clearing print heads, fixing wiring and fan faults, and recalibrating each laser mirror in sequence from tube to head.
• Torture-tested every printer after maintenance and scored its performance before returning it to use.
• Fixed and upgraded ventilation for fume-producing equipment, routing new ducting under the PCB room's soldering stations and mini laser cutter, and upgrading extraction for the soldering stations in the main lab.
• Built a tuck shop system for nuts, bolts and fasteners, making small hardware easy for students to find and restock.
• Helped plan and build the obstacle course for the Robotics and AI Challenge: multiple terrains including a lunar surface, climbing to a top level finished by a zip line for robots to slide down.
